Manuel Nunez Yanowsky himself designed the original idea and the first volume and structure models of the Walden 7 project (to the attention of all fake culturologists).
Large residential complex "Walden 7" in Barcelona, envisaged the concept of the "vertical city" with complicated three-dimensional development of volumes and spaces.
The project is based on the system of module proliferation in an urban scale. The cubic modules 5,3 x 5,3 x 5,3 meters comprise two housing blocks, by moving in three dimensions, creating inner plazas and courtyards. Each housing block is 16 floors high. The opposite sides of the courtyards are connected with the inner bridges.
The dwellings can have 1,2,3 or 4 modules.
The project is realized with in-situ concrete framework and facing with brickwork and ceramic tiles.
