The Guisse Area project, carried out in 1989, is composed of 270 units which were realised into two phases. This project is located in historic centre of Dijon. The design concept is a modern interpretation of traditional local architecture defined by semi-private passages, connecting public spaces, and the use of plain tiles in various colours.

The land is isolated in front of Barbizet Street. The road has been extended up to the railway. This fact has been emphasised through a theatrical (Trompe l' Oeil) perspective. Sand-coloured architectonic concrete (imitation Burgundy stone), completely precast in the factory, was used for the construction.
